How soon should we book our wedding photographer?
We suggest booking your photographer as soon as you have secured your venue and date. Most of our clients book 10-16 months in advance. Saturday's are prime wedding days, so those fill up fast.
Do you offer a consultation?
Yes, we do! However, we only offer a consult via Skype, google hangouts or on the phone. Most of our clients would rather communicate this way too. Let's face it, your time is valuable and planning a wedding takes a LOT of it. A quick phone call or Skype is convenient and informative. We are happy to set one up with you at any stage of your booking process.
I don't need/want and engagement session. Can that be removed from my package?
We HIGHLY recommend an engagement session however it is not mandatory. The purpose behind this session is for you to get to know your photographer and work out all of your nerves before the big day. Being comfortable with your photographer and in front of the camera will help ensure that your wedding photos truly capture your unique personalities. Engagement sessions are complementary in all of our packages so removing it will not change the overall price of your wedding photography package.
Will you hold our date for us?
Sadly, the answer is no. We can't hold dates so if you know you want us for your wedding don't wait! :) It only takes a 25% retainer & signed agreement to book us for your wedding which is way less than most vendors. If you can't tell by now, we like to make things easy!
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes! We are very flexible with our payment schedules with only two deadlines that must be met. An initial 25% retainer is due at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding day. If you would like to set up a monthly or quarterly payment plan we are happy to do that for you.
How many images will we receive?
We average around 50-75 images per hour. However, the number of images will also vary on a case to case basis. The number of people that attend, the amount of detail, as well as special elements you incorporate during the day will effect the amount of images in your final gallery. For example, a bride with 7 bridesmaids will have more wedding party photos than a bride with 2 bridesmaids simply because of the amount of people. No matter how big or small your event is, we always strive to tell a story of the entire day and capture as much as possible. We will never put a set limit on the number of images we give you or purposely withhold images.
How long does it take to receive our final images?
We guarantee your images within 6 weeks of your wedding day. We realize the anticipation of waiting for your images so we also post a sneak peek on Facebook or our blog (with your permission) within 24-48 hours!
Do we get a print release with our images?
Yes. We deliver images in an online gallery that you can share and download. Each gallery is connected to our preferred print lab which we highly recommend. We can not guarantee quality or colors when you choose to print with a different lab however we do release the right print your images as you wish!
