Forget the dress, let's talk about shoes!

When you think of weddings, one of the first images to come to mind is a gorgeous white dress, right? Well can we let you in on a little secret? As much as we love, I'm talkin' L-O-V-E with all the big heart eyes, a beautiful dress we also kinda sorta L-O-V-E the shoes a bride picks for her big day!

It's like getting a secret glimpse into who they really are. You see, the dress is for everyone to admire. Brides imagine how their mothers will help them put on the gown, how their fathers will tear up at seeing her for the first time, and of course, how their groom will glow as she walks down the aisle. But the shoes? They're for her. They're not quite a secret, but guests really only catch a small glimpse of the them as the bride walks down the aisle or twirls on the dance floor. They're special to her and we love that intimate little glimpse into who a bride is as a person, not just as half of the amazing couple we get to photograph.

For example, you have your classic white flats, like below. The bride they belong to is classy and practical. Elegant and confident. She's sweet and traditional, just like her shoes.

And then you have your sparkly tennis shoes. Their owner is sassy, fun and knows who she is as a woman. She wants to get out on the dance floor and fully experience every last second of her wedding.

Next up you've got your cowboy boots. This bride is all about her friends, her groom, and the love they all share. She wants her wedding day to be filled with laughter and dancing and she won't accept anything less.

And we would be remiss if we didn't discuss the owner of a classic pair of pumps! She is sophisticated, stylish, chic. She started planning her wedding when she was a young girl and has thought of every last detail.

And last but certainly not least, you've got your sparkly blue pumps bride. She is the life of the party. And when she enters a room, heads turn. She knows who she is and what she wants - and she gets it!

So, if you're married, what shoes did you choose for your big day? Do you feel like they fit your personality as well as the descriptions above? If you're engaged, what shoes are you planning to wear? We want to hear from you!
