Will and Kara’s summer wedding in Atlanta was nothing short of amazing. Their venue, Marietta Educational Garden Center, was the epitome of southern vintage charm, and consisted of an antique home filled with its original furniture pieces. To decorate they used vintage books, mason jars, and suitcases as for a simple DIY look. The couple chose a beautiful color palette of navy blue, light blue, light yellow, and white. The colors and DIY elements added a personal touch to the venue without taking away from its own beauty.
During the ceremony, the newlyweds incorporated a foot washing ceremony to symbolize their commitment to serve one another. There was not a dry eye in the house. We were all inspired by their dedication and commitment to love and serve one another.
After the ceremony, both the guests and bride and groom took to the lawn for lawn games and activities. We loved this idea! Kara couldn’t wait to get in on the fun and show off her hula-hooping skills. Everyone had a lovely time and shared great laughs together on such joyful day.
Will and Kara took a break from playing for a little quiet time together before their reception. These two have such a kind way of loving one another. We couldn’t help but smile when they smiled at each other.
As a send-off, the couple opted for a grand exit with bubbles, which perfectly tied in with their bubbly and fun personalities.
We had the best time being a part of their wedding day.
