Michael & Marisa’s Fairy Tale Wedding at The White Room in St. Augustine, FL

We know that almost all girls grow up dreaming of their wedding day, putting on that dress and dancing the night away with their closest friends and the future love of their life. They want to grow up and be like a beautiful princess they see in the movies, except with a veil instead of a crown. We may be partial, but Marisa sure did look like a princess in her beautiful gown and Michael as her prince charming. This wedding was definitely one for the books and we just couldn't wait to share with you all! Not only were they a stunning couple, they also booked The White Room in St. Augustine as their venue, and it is one of our favorites! Their bridal suite boasts the most beautiful couches and chairs, with a full-length white mirror. The natural light fills the room and gives such a romantic charm to the space.

If we had to describe the couple I think kind and joyous would be the words that scratch the surface. They were so wonderful to work with all day, just so nice and willing to work with us. Michael was soft-spoken but you could tell how excited he was all day to see his bride. Marisa also buzzed with anticipation and had to hold back the tears until she got to see him. Even though the bridesmaids were peaking around the corner, their first look couldn't have been more intimate for them. Michael and Marisa were just focused on one another the entire time.

After beautiful vows and a beautiful ceremony looking out over at the water and Bridge of Lions, the bridal party was introduced and Michael and Marisa had a special dance for everyone. They spent so much time perfecting a choreographed dance including spins, dips, and lifts. Again, Michael and Marisa had this way of making it seem like they were the only two people there. Their love for one another just echoed throughout the night and everybody could feel it.

Michael & Marisa had little nods to different Disney movies throughout their wedding décor. The white room truly is breathtaking on its own with the brick walls and beautiful chandeliers to contrast, so the décor really is minimal. We loved their cream and neutral tones with greenery added here and there for little pops of color. It balanced between elegant and natural which suited the couple perfectly. They definitely had a blast during their reception and planned a sparkler exit for their fairytale happily ever after.

We are so honored you chose us to photograph your special day and are wishing you a lifetime of happiness!
